The waves here are man-made. Adventure Parc Snowdonia built a surf lagoon inland at Dolgarrog in the Conwy Valley, producing rideable waves to order well away from the sea. There’s indoor climbing, an adventure course and a hotel on site alongside the surfing. Dolgarrog station sits right by the gate.
