The Tŷn-y-Coed sits on the A5 at Capel Curig, an old stone inn with log fires and a restored stagecoach parked outside as a nod to its coaching days. Rooms and food make it a walkers’ base for Moel Siabod and the Snowdon ranges. The Bryn Tyrch Inn is a little further along the road.
