The Bryn Tyrch Inn stands beside the A5 at Capel Curig, its front windows looking across to the Snowdon range. It’s a walkers’ and climbers’ base with rooms and food, well placed for the Glyderau and the paths up Moel Siabod. Pont-y-Pant station is about 5km down the valley to the south-east.
