The 27 arches of the Charlton Viaduct, built in 1874, rise straight behind this garden on the edge of Shepton Mallet. Below them a boating lake and a replica of a Chelsea gold-medal rockery are staged among old mill ponds, on ground once tied to the Mulberry fashion company under founder Roger Saul. Open to visitors with an admission charge.
