Planted in 1974, Wraxall is one of Somerset’s oldest vineyards, on a south-facing slope near Shepton Mallet. The first vines went in with varieties like Seyval Blanc and Müller-Thurgau; new owners have been reviving the place since 2021. There’s a restaurant looking out over the rows and miles of countryside beyond, with tastings open to visitors.
