Hauser & Wirth Somerset (Oudolf Field)
Behind the galleries at Hauser & Wirth, on the edge of Bruton, lies the Oudolf Field — a perennial meadow of grasses and flowering plants that Piet Oudolf set out in curving, interlocking beds. The contemporary-art gallery and its garden are both free to walk into, with a donation box for the local charity partner. Bruton station is only a few minutes’ walk to the north.
