The Oxford Artisan Distillery works on a grain-to-glass principle at the edge of the city, distilling gin, vodka and rye spirit from heritage grains grown for flavour on farms within reach of Oxford. It ran well-regarded tours of its still house, though production paused in 2024 with a reopening planned, so it’s worth checking ahead before a visit. Oxford station is about 3km to the west.
