A family-run sparkling-wine estate in the chalky hills just north of Saffron Walden, open for vineyard tours and tastings. The chalk soils suit traditional-method fizz, and the setting looks out over the same countryside the town’s saffron was once grown in. Great Chesterford station is about 4km to the north-west.
