Perry’s has pressed cider at Dowlish Wake, near Ilminster, for four generations, still working by the old methods each autumn. The draw for visitors is the little rural museum in a sixteenth-century thatched barn — old presses, wagons and farm gear — with a cafe and shop alongside. Farm shop, cafe and museum open to visitors, and tours bookable. Crewkerne station is about 9km to the south-east.
