Burrow Hill’s orchards on the Somerset Levels hold over a hundred vintage cider-apple varieties, all grown, pressed, distilled and bottled on the farm, and in 1989 this became Britain’s first licensed cider-brandy distillery. Book a tour and tasting, then carry on to Barrington Court’s Tudor house and gardens, or pick up the River Parrett Trail nearby.
