Lindisfarne Oysters is a family farm growing oysters on the tidal sands off Ross, in the sheltered water behind Holy Island. It’s a producer rather than a shop — most of the harvest goes to restaurants across the north — but they’ll sell by arrangement if you get in touch first. The setting, looking across to Lindisfarne, is gorgeous. Chathill station is about 11km south-east.
