Ynyslas is a wide sweep of sand and dunes at the mouth of the Dyfi estuary, part of the Dyfi National Nature Reserve. You can drive onto the beach, and there’s a seasonal visitor centre explaining the dune plants and birds. Across the water lies Aberdovey, and the dunes look north to the Snowdonia hills. Boardwalks keep you off the fragile marram grass; Borth is just down the coast to the south.
