The Starling Cloud is a pub with rooms on the edge of Aberystwyth, a short walk from the seafront and below the hill that carries the National Library of Wales. There’s a courtyard for warmer days, and it does food through the day. Aberystwyth station is under a kilometre off, handy if you’ve come in by train on the Cambrian line.
