Lossiemouth’s East Beach is a long, dune-backed stretch of sand reached by a footbridge across the mouth of the River Lossie — a favourite for families on a fine day. It’s free and open, and there’s plenty of room to spread out even in summer. Elgin is about 9km to the south.
