Jo and Malcolm converted a vintage Rice horsebox into this wood-fired sauna, lined with Finnish alder and heated by a Harvia stove. It usually sits in the dunes past the beach huts, with the sea moments away for a dip, and in rough weather it moves into the shelter behind the huts. It was shortlisted for best wild sauna in the UK at the British Sauna Society Awards 2026.
