The last post mill left in Leicestershire, of the more than two hundred the county once had. Its great oak main post is carved “Daniel Hutchinson, Miller, 1711”, and the interior still carries the graffiti of the millers who worked it into the 1930s. The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings owns it and finished a major repair in 2021; it stands on private ground and opens only on a handful of days a year. Market Harborough station is about 9km to the south-east.
