Historian Michael Wood used Kibworth as the single thread of his BBC series The Story of England, tracing the whole national past through one Leicestershire village. On the edge of it stands the county’s only surviving post mill, its main post inscribed 1711. Market Harborough station is around 9km to the south-east.
