Wistow Maze
Local highlightApproximate location — this spot is pinned to the nearest village, so the exact point may be a little way off.
Come in high summer and Wistow Maze is worth an hour or two: a giant maze cut into a field of growing maize, around eight acres with some three miles of paths, bridges and a couple of viewing towers. The design changes every year, and the crop is only tall enough from July into September, so it’s a seasonal thing. It’s part of the Wistow rural centre south of Leicester, with a café and shops on site.
