The building went up in 1485, the year of Bosworth, as cottages for the craftsmen working on Blaby’s church next door; it only became a pub some centuries later. Now a thatched, low-ceilinged Everards inn on the green, with a beer garden and a menu that leans on the Bosworth connection. South Wigston station is about 2km east.
