Mellow stone cottages gather above the little River Coln, with The New Inn in the middle of the village. A well-walked riverside footpath runs from here down the valley toward Bibury, past Quenington — an easy couple of miles between three quiet villages. No nearby station worth the walk; this is car or bike country.
