Fairford’s church keeps the only complete set of medieval stained glass in any English parish church — 28 windows glazed around 1500–1515, running from the Creation to the Last Judgement. They are credited to Barnard Flower, glazier to Henry VII, and came through the Reformation intact. The church was rebuilt by the Tame family, wool merchants of Fairford. Swindon station is the nearest on the rail network, some way south.
