St Mary’s stands just back from Arlington Row, the much-photographed line of weavers’ cottages at Bibury. The church was founded in Saxon times and carries work from many centuries since, though it stays a quiet, working parish church rather than a set-piece. Worth a look while the crowds gather down by the river.
