Steam & Salt runs a pair of wood-fired sauna cabins on Longsands, down on the lower promenade near the old outdoor pool. The larger one, Iso, takes up to 12 people and the smaller Pikku up to eight, and both have wide windows looking straight onto the beach. You cool off under the cold showers along from Crusoe’s cafe, or in the North Sea if you choose, which is entirely up to you. There are no changing rooms.
