A handsome triple-arched stone bridge of around 1810 spanning the river at Sligachan, with the peaks of the Black Cuillin rising behind it. It’s one of Skye’s classic photo spots, especially with the mountains reflected in the water. Parking is easy by the Sligachan Hotel on the A87, where the roads from Portree, Broadford and Dunvegan meet, which makes it a natural pause on any Skye drive.
