Raasay’s distillery opened in 2017 — the island’s first legal one — in a converted Victorian house above the ferry pier, making both single malt and a rhubarb-tinged gin. There’s a visitor centre and guided tours (open seven days a week in summer), and you can even stay the night in rooms above the working stills. It’s a short CalMac crossing from Sconser on Skye; tours are worth booking ahead.
