Glenbrittle Beach is a broad stretch of dark, almost black volcanic sand at the foot of Loch Brittle, right under the Cuillin — which makes it a handy base for climbers and hillwalkers. There’s a campsite and café by the sand. Getting there means a long single-track drive down Glen Brittle; the road ends at the beach, so it stays quiet once the day-trippers head off.
