Black-and-white beach with a waterfall.
Approximate location — this spot is pinned to the nearest village, so the exact point may be a little way off.
A wild bay of dark sand west of Carbost, Talisker Bay is backed by a sea stack and a waterfall that spills straight down the cliff. It shares its name with the distillery but sits a few miles away on the coast. Park near Talisker House and follow the farm track down to the shore, about twenty minutes on foot. Best at low tide, when the sand is at its widest.
