Tucked under the Kessock Bridge on the Black Isle shore at North Kessock, this little viewpoint is a good listening-post for the bottlenose dolphins that work the narrows of the Beauly Firth. There’s sometimes a hydrophone set up in season so you can hear them below the surface as well as spot the fins. For the classic close-up encounter, though, Chanonry Point a few miles east is hard to beat.
