Uilebheist is a distillery and brewery on the bank of the River Ness in central Inverness — the first new distillery in the city for around 130 years. It runs tours of both the whisky and the beer side, and the taproom pours its own craft beers alongside a long whisky list. Cleverly, it draws heating energy from the river itself. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from the station.
