A wood-fired barrel sauna that stays put above Jackson's Bay, on the harbour side of Barry Island
Save this place
It’s a mobile sauna on paper, but Môr a Sawna is permanently set up at Jackson’s Bay, looking over the beach, the harbour and the lighthouse. The wood-burning barrel seats up to 10 and runs at 80 to 100°C. You can run into the sea between rounds or use the cold shower by the sauna. The operator suggests visiting within about two and a half hours of high tide, when the water is close.
