Winskill Stones is a limestone pavement nature reserve on the moor above Langcliffe, kept for its flower-rich grassland and the ferns and plants that shelter down in the grikes of the pavement. It’s open access land, free to wander, with wide views over Ribblesdale. The pavement is uneven and slippery when wet, so watch your footing. Settle and its station are a few kilometres south-west.
