Pembrey Country Park is a big stretch of pine woodland and dunes backing onto Cefn Sidan, the long beach on Carmarthen Bay. Alongside miles of walking and cycling trails there’s a dry ski slope and a visitor centre, so it works as a family day out as much as a nature walk. Pembrey & Burry Port station is about 4km to the east.
