Cheriton is a small hamlet in the Burry Pill valley on north Gower. Most people stop for its 13th-century church, St Cadoc’s, tucked among trees by the stream and grand enough for its size that it is locally called the cathedral of Gower. The lanes here run down towards the estuary marshes at Landimore.
