Ferryside sits on the east bank of the Tywi estuary, its foreshore looking straight across to the ruined castle above Llansteffan. It’s more sand-flat than resort beach — good for cockling, birdwatching and the view — and covers over on the tide, so mind your timing. The village station is right by the shore.
