Dylan Thomas Boathouse
Local highlightDylan Thomas spent his last years at this boathouse above the Taf estuary at Laugharne, writing in a shed further along the cliff path. It’s now a small museum, with his writing room kept much as it was and a tearoom looking out over the water. There’s an admission charge. Ferryside station sits across the estuary, about 6km off.
