Marbury Country Park
Local highlightMarbury Country Park is former estate parkland on the shore of Budworth Mere, near Comberbach. The old hall is long gone, but its avenues of lime trees, an arboretum and lakeside woods remain, along with birdwatching hides looking out over the mere. It links up with neighbouring nature reserves and canal towpaths for longer walks. There’s a car park (charged) off the lane, and Northwich station is about 3.5km to the south-east.
