Borrowdale Rainforest is one of 26 National Nature Reserves in Cumbria. Only three of the county's National Nature Reserves are larger. It lies within the Lake District National Park. For more of the same, Armboth Fells and Seatoller Wood and Sourmilk Gill are close by.
