The Wolds Inn at Huggate claims to be the highest pub on the Yorkshire Wolds, a snug 16th-century inn of brick and beams with big helpings of pub food and a few rooms. It’s a fine reward for walkers off the Wolds Way, which passes close by. Driffield is the nearest station, about 15km east.
