The Three Kings has stood on the green at Hanley Castle since the fifteenth century, and the Roberts family have run it since 1911. Inside are tiny beamed rooms and inglenook fireplaces little changed in generations — it holds a place on CAMRA’s national inventory of historic pub interiors — with several changing cask ales and a quiet welcome. Great Malvern station is about 7km to the north-west.
