One of the last cider-only houses in the country, this thatched, half-timbered cottage near Defford has been in the same family for around 150 years, serving Westons cider and perry through a hatch to drinkers in the yard or a lean-to when it rains. There is no bar as such, and no fuss. Pair a jug with a riverside wander by the nearby Avon, or a visit to Croome Court to the northwest.
