The Red Pump Inn is an easygoing steakhouse-with-rooms out in the countryside at Bashall Eaves, near the old house at Browsholme. Dogs are welcome, the steaks are the reason to come, and it makes a quiet Ribble Valley bolthole. Clitheroe station is about 5km east.
