The Plough sits in Coton, a village just west of Cambridge, with a big garden running back into an acre of meadow and trees. It’s an 18th-century pub turned smart local, cooking a well-regarded seasonal menu, and makes a good end point for the walk or cycle out from the city along the footpath through the fields. Cambridge station is about 5km east.
