The Bow Bar is a single-room bar part-way down curving Victoria Street in the Old Town, done out in a traditional Victorian style. It’s a favourite with whisky and real-ale drinkers: a big back-bar wall of Scotch and a rotating set of cask ales served from tall founts, no music and nowhere much to sit. Just a place to drink well and talk. Handy if you’re wandering between the Grassmarket and the Royal Mile.
