Bovey Castle is a grand hotel in 275 acres of Dartmoor near North Bovey, with a formal Great Western restaurant and the easier Smith’s Brasserie both cooking seasonal West Country produce. Valley views come with the meal. It sits between the Dartmoor Way and the Two Moors Way, and the woods of the Bovey valley drop away to the south-east for a walk to work up an appetite.
