Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir has been a destination since 1984, a honey-stone manor house wrapped in eleven gardens and an orchard of thousands of trees that feed its kitchens. Dining here is garden-to-table in the fullest sense. Make more of the day with the gardens at Waterperry a little to the north, or a stretch of the Oxfordshire Way through the surrounding countryside.
