One of the largest stone tower mills in Britain stands on the rise between Great Haseley and Great Milton, thought to date from around 1760. It fell idle in the early 1900s and was brought back to full working order in 2013 after a long restoration. It opens to visitors on a scattering of days through the year, sails turning when the wind allows.
