British Camp, also called the Herefordshire Beacon, is an Iron Age hillfort at the southern end of the Malverns, its ramparts cut in terraces around the whole hill so the earthworks stand out even from a distance. It sits on the county line, with views west over Herefordshire and east down to the Severn. Open access and free; the shortest route up starts by the car park at the Wynds Point gap on the A449. Colwall station is about 3km to the north.
