At 425m, Worcestershire Beacon is the highest point of the Malvern Hills, and the whole ridge falls away on either side of it. A toposcope on the summit names the landmarks the view is supposed to reach across many surrounding counties. It’s open access and free to walk, with paths up from several directions; the pull straight up from Great Malvern is the steepest. Great Malvern station sits below the eastern slope, about 700m from the town paths.
