Pitsford Water
Local highlightPitsford Water is a large reservoir north of Northampton. Its quieter northern arm is run as a nature reserve, good for wintering wildfowl, while the southern half is given over to sailing and fly fishing. A perimeter cycle track draws families at weekends. There’s open access and free entry, with a parking charge at the main car parks.
