Coton Manor stands in mellow local stone above the countryside near Guilsborough, its ten acres of garden falling away in terraces first laid out in the 1920s. The draw for many is the five-acre bluebell wood below, usually in flower in early May. It opens from around Good Friday to the end of September, Tuesday to Saturday and on bank holidays, with a separate snowdrop season in February. Long Buckby station is about 7km to the south-west.
